RETN Channel 16 — Regional Educational Technology Network — provides 24-hour local access to learning and the arts. Broadcasting on Comcast and Burlington Telecom in the Champlain Valley, and online at www.retn.org, RETN produces and trains people to produce media for learning for television and the Internet. Internships and easy access to equipment facilitate the learning process. For viewers, the station offers 24-hour, online video-on-demand access to select, locally produced educational programming, as well as world views often overlooked by network television, including "Democracy NOW!," native-language news from Germany and France, and Al Jazeera in English.
